Start-Up Slam in Louisville

We are quickly ramping up for the first of three scheduled Start-Up Slam events. The first event will be held in Louisville at the Kentucky Science Center on October 30th from 10:00AM – 3:00PM.

Start-Up Slam is going to be a very high-energy event intended to serve as a catalyst for new company creation in Kentucky.

The event is free to attend and open to the general public.  Anyone who is thinking about starting a new company is encouraged to attend. Lunch will be provided and there will be plenty of opportunity to network.

There will also be an exciting opportunity to actually form a new company right at the event for only $65 . This price includes:

  • A one-on-one meeting with an attorney for consultation and advice on starting a new business.
  • Creation of a single-member LLC by:

o   Filing online with the Kentucky Secretary of State

o   Preparing an Operating Agreement for the new LLC

  • Registration of a domain name and email address (good for one year).

Please check out the website, www.Start-UpSlam.com, for more information. I have also attached a flyer and we would certainly appreciate any help in getting the word out so please feel free to distribute.

If you have any questions contact Shari Ball at sball@kstc.com or 859-246-3233.
